@tibles Knew it reminded me of something!! Thanks Ulrika - hope the weather is being nicer for you in Brissy - pretty cold up here. Spotted your dinner at Royal Albert (on FB) - our favourite place to stay!! So central. Have a great time. Cheers Rob

@robz the meal there was lovely... and very friendly staff. we are only a block away so yes very central so we don't need a car..

@tibles Would be dreadful if you had to go shopping for new clothes!!:) I guess you know about the free Loop buses? And the Citycat ride from one end to the other is fun too. But I'm sure you will have a good time no matter what you do. Cheers Rob

what did this start as Rob??

@30pics4jackiesdiamond Hi Jackie - it started out as a dead cactus - all brown and black. I took the photo because it had an interesting shape - but it wasn't really very exciting!! Thanks for having a look. Cheers

Another question..... Is this done on Photoshop or another system??

Love the colours - like Jackie, I would be interested in how you did this.

@30pics4jackiesdiamond @photobird Hi Jackie and Photobird. Thanks for your interest. I have a very old editing program (11years old!!) which I believe may have been the starting point for Photoshop .My daughter found it in her cupboard and gave it to me. I like it cause it makes you think!! Haha - always good. Anyway, this was a negative effect (to make it blue and purple, a fish eye effect to make it bulge, an edge effect to brighten the edges, a backlight to brighten it overall, a metallic effect with transparency and finally a catch and cut with an oval shape to remove the edges and allow the black background to go in. This really was just mucking around and trying one thing after another. I would be interested in trying the Picmonkey program that you can access through 365. Have either of you had much chance to play with it. I've only tried it once - just to crop something I had already put up. It did look like it offered some good things. Cheers Rob

@robz I can't get picmonkey to save, but I dabble carefully with ribbett.com which was recommended by someone here on 365. I-piccy is another one, both on linbe free!!!!

@30pics4jackiesdiamond That's funny Jackie - the one time I tried Pic monkey it just exported the changed image back onto the 365 site. But I guess it didn't actually save it anywhere else! Maybe that's how it's set up to use. I'll have a look at the two you mention. Thanks for the info. Cheers Rob

@robz Thanks for that Rob, as you say I think its a case of mucking around and trying things out. Haven't tried the Picmonkey prog.
