Hidden food... by robz

Hidden food...

Laura asked me to do a food photo for my get-pushed challenge. After a variety of dreadful images of our boring food I noticed the bread toasting under the gas griller. At least it had some interest - so here it is - dinner in the making in an abstract form. SOOC too....sad isn't it?!
An interesting take on the challenge :) Well done

Food photography doesn't have to be about a cooked meal. Have fun with it -like this https://365project.org/joansmor/365/2018-02-03 or this https://365project.org/joansmor/365/2015-03-15

Thank you all for your kind thoughts and the links. I had a look at them and there are great photos there. I think the trouble is that I'm not very patient with posed shots - I just like to wander with my camera in my pocket! But now I feel guilty about not trying more - after all it is supposed to be a challenge! I guess I better have one more go! :) @jacqbb @joansmor @shutterbug49

@robz Maybe you could just shoot any old food and then turn it into something more exciting like what you did for WWYD or composite17.

I agree with Joan that a food shot doesn't have to be about cooked food- in fact, I know you are a pet owner, so why does your food shot have to be about people food? Why not a feast for your furry friend? I also agree with Shutterbug- the creativity you used in the WWYD shot can be applied to your food shot. As far as I know you don't have any limitations on what you produce here- it just has to be about food. Go for it Rob! I know you can do it!!

All that being said, this shot makes me think of 2001 Space Odyssey.

Great abstract Rob. I'm rubbish at food photos.
