cold and rain mixed with snow makes for a real miserable day (or night). i had training this afternoon at work, came back to my desk and IT had changed my computer so i lost some documents, that was enough to get me stressed to the hilt! and partner did a late delivery and my dinner date with the girls at the office got cancelled. i was going to see a movie but nothing appealed to me. so i went to a nice restaurant and treated myself to a nice quiet dinner.
this is pan seared salmon fillet with ground pistachio crust and served with guacamole and steamed asparagus stalks over steamed jasmine rice. enjoyed it with a glass of local (pelee island, ontario) gewurztraminer. ahhhh...food for the soul.
but i don't know what happened here. since it is food, i wanted to take a normal shot, but i guess the overhead lamp is just too bright. so the 'overexposed' result just suits me fine and i don't have to think of what to post for the challenge.
That was a tough day! Sorry about that. Between the IT person's changes and no girls night out, I would have been p-o-ed! I am glad you made lemonade of our lemons day!
