the colours of this middle eastern country's flag are red, white and green, with its national emblem of two crossed swords and a khanja, the traditional curved dagger, as shown in the coin above.
the coin was a 1980 issue which is year 1440 in the islamic calendar. having lived for almost three years in the middle east, i can still read numbers in arabic. that's the first thing you would learn to read because all their currencies are not in english.
