in the early morning rain by summerfield

in the early morning rain

partner was quite impressed when i took this shot, in the rain, on my knees and elbows (with my butt up high, said he) to shoot this train track. my poor nikon wasn't impressed and so was the lens. the lens got the brunt of rain as i had to zoom in and out. hopefully the camera's okay.

a car was crossing the track and the driver didn't know how to react, asked if i was okay and did i know that the track is in use. tee-hee!
What you will do for a shot my friend and a nice POV. Feels like we're riding on the track. Great capture.

Oh lord as I finished it I got such am teal picture of the poor befuddled driver stopping to ask if you were ok! Awesome job on getting that low down point of view. It seems to have rained pretty much everywhere this weekend.

Great pov! I can just imagine the look on the driver's face, must have been quite a sight. I just love the lengths we all go to just to get the shot we have in mind!

Great pov - well worth the pose. I frequently get funny looks from passers-by when I'm laying on the ground at the side of the road.

I can just picture you taking this shot Vikki. Us 365ers will do anything to get just the right shot. At least the fellow in the car was actually concerned about you

Love that song and Gordon Lightfoot! Nice to know there are some people out there who truly look out for their fellow man/woman. The shot was worth the trouble it took to get it. Nice one.
