spinning wheel by summerfield

spinning wheel

christine @k1w1 and her husband came down to the islands this afternoon and i joined them after work. toronto had been under heavy clouds today and it got heavier after sundown; the rain is predicted to arrive sometime tonight. i knew we were not going to have a clear night so i thought we could try lightpainting when it got darker. i brought with me my fairy lights and two packs of sparklers. the sparklers turned out to be useless as we didn't have matches nor the two people we asked.

this is Christine playing with the fairy lights. we couldn't get any fancier as we truly didn't know what we were doing. we're going to get the hang of this at some point in time!

Still a very cool shot

The different colours are really cool, great circles. Light painting can be such fun.

Very cool effect.

Wow that turned out pretty cool. We did a reasonable job but we MUST do the sparklers thing very soon. I have a great place just down the road from my house with no street lights that would work well :)

It's very pretty no matter what. It does make me think of the Twilight Zone though!
