get-pushed #137 - inspiration from the home feed

my challenge this week from marelize dry @ounooi is "to find inspiration in your news feed and produce your own interpretation of the photo".

the inspiration for this is kim's tulip shot on saturday: http://365project.org/kwind/365/2015-03-07

no tulips around the house, however, there were a few stems of the yellow daisies that were still looking good.

i am fulfilling a challenge so no need to comment; but if you do, thank you.
@ounooi - marelize, this is my first try. if i see another one that is quite challenging, i will try and do another. not that this is not challenging, but mind you, high key is rather difficult. :-)

Oh this would make an excellent card and print. Would think the flower shop would snap this up. Cx

I loved Kim'shot and I love your gerbera too. Beautifully soft, yet full of vibrant colour.

@claireuk - you think so? i will have this printed and framed. i think i will have a flower series for them, although they love my black and white grungy shots. they haven't sold any of my frames yet. but on my way out the framer two weeks ago, a couple bought one of the small canvass i had the printer make for me. i'm being auditioned again for a mid-class restaurant but their turnover is bi-monthly and they have 12 other artists on queue. thank you, my good friend claire. love to annabella.

This is beautiful. The high key works perfectly and the water drops are the cherry on the top!

Well I would say you took your inspiration and executed it magnificently! I also concur with Claire about this image being a great one for the flower shop!

Yes- definitely do this one up for the flower shop- and the water droplet on the green leaves too. Beautiful!
