"oh, no! she's taking our picture!" by summerfield

"oh, no! she's taking our picture!"

we were at the ismaili centre at the aga khan museum on this bright sunny afternoon. the sun cast beautiful linear shadows of the centre's roof and it certainly made for a great capture. this couple was having an animated conversation as they walked through and when the girl realized that they might be in the shot, playfully hid behind her boyfriend. i pretended to ignore them as they passed by me when the three women on the left entered the frame.

taken in the style of henry cartier-bresson. he has a photograph from 1948 of a chinese peasant sitting down and eating his provisions and there were linear shadows reflected on the wall behind him.

to make it a three-fer, tagging this also for the six-word story challenge and the on-going street challenge.
Love the shadow lines and reflections. What an interesting place.

Love all the shadow lines and I didn't even noticed the girl hiding behind the guy till you pointed it out. She did a real good job I really only see her fingers and hand. He seems pretty happy. The lines in the building really works with all the shadow lines. So much to look at.
