outside union station, there is an event called "union summer" where kiosks and mini restaurants and bistros are set up outside, and by the looks of it they are doing brisk business! there is one kiosk that sells ice cream for - get this - $7+ per scoop and people stand in a long line up to buy and get a taste of it. i'm all for spending my money on gourmet food, just not in kiosks where there are no washrooms and people (the ones serving, that is) have to go so far for their bathroom breaks. well, there is a portable potty nearby, if you are not that concerned about sanitation! not for me, though, especially in 36 celcius heat. but hey! the chinese food must be good according to these three.
