this is the second week that the masks used in the lion king play are on display at the lobby of our office building. there's a free draw for a pair of tickets and i've filled up three ballots already.
this is i think one of the bad guys in the story. and this is the best shot i'm able to take as there's too much reflection on the plexiglass casings of the other masks. it was a toss up between the photograph of a door knob, the CN tower (again) and the mask. we know which one made photo of the day, don't we?
Beautiful piece! Shooting thru plexi or glass is always a challenge. Depending on what you're shooting, I've actually sit my lens right up against the plexi and shoot. And if you can turn OFF the flash or you'll get a flare.
But loving the art of the mask, the little "hidden" pictures with in your picture, the reflections.
@celticmystyc - thanks for the tips. actually i was aiming to take a picture of the gorgeous suit in the back but when he moved and he got covered by the mask! LOL!
