there is a shop or bistro yet to open on the danforth, and this guitar was on its display window. i got curious and examined the display. there is no sign as to what kind of shop the place will be but inside are rattan chairs and small tables. i'm guessing it will be one of those italian or greek "fusion" kind of shop (why is everything "fusion"-ed these days?).
i'd be so interested in going there if there is live guitar playing. i used to play the guitar when i was young and briefly had a gig as a "folk singer" back in the early 70's at a really seedy club where no one ever listened as the patrons were busy drinking or flirting with the waitresses (unbeknownst to my parents hehehe!). i knew how to play only 15 songs quite well and that was my repertoire everytime. i had to quit after a few days because my college professor saw me and i was afraid he'd tell my parents! oooops!
i used a kodak easy share camera and i don't know how to manipulate the settings but the sepia colour quite appeals to me so i ain't complainin'. (read the manual, summerfield!)
@danig - "were" is our operative word here, DG :-) goodness, that was a long time ago, i think i was 16 or 17. i'd go there after class still wearing my uniform, with my best buddy in high school with our guitars. she was "janis joplin" and i was "joan baez". dreamers such as i. now when i sing i put earplugs on and would suggest everyone to do the same. hahahahaha!
