it is inevitable that i would have to go up the CN tower to complete my mission this month. a good time to go as there's not a lot of tourist-type people despite the good weather (except that today it was more like a jekyll and hyde weather). surprised, but not really, to find "photographers" sitting on the floor facing west and waiting for the sunset. geeks!
so here, i give you the night shot of the same angle as the photograph on june 21st. the other is the view looking east from the skypod (that little pod way above the main pod - i mean, you should know these things by now, eh?) over at dusk. this was taken from 1,465 ft. above ground. the red tint was due to the dancing lights of the tower being on which got reflected back up.
sooc except for the frame (from picnik) and name tag. i will continue to catch up with commenting on your photos tomorrow.
@steeler - aw, howard, you're so sweet. thank you. @silverdraggin - no, thank you! and never say never, because you never know! @pamfromcalgary - thanks, pam! @roth - that was one of my ideas, but remember this is just one side of the city. i was thinking more of a map. @sunnygreenwood - and i thank you for visiting TO; you're more than welcome.
so, it is countdown time, isn' t it? Love this one -- love the view! Thanks for taking us to the top -- ! Definitely worth the view! (and did you give in and take a sunset one while you were up there???)
That is amazing- your whole project has been so wonderful. Many of us cant wait to see what you will do and you amaze us every day! From the top- scary but glad you went.
@cscecil - thanks so much, CS. i did make an attempt at the sunset. i was aiming for the half sun, but a tourist shoved his expensive camera in front of mine. it was rather frustrating. i know i'll be back there one more time before the summer ends.
@jannkc - thank you so much, jann. when you come to toronto, i WILL take you there. but don't come in november, i will be away. summer really is the best time to come and enjoy the view.
lol @ "geeks"
great shots as usual.....i commend you for sticking with one theme all month. I can't do that cuz of what my Mom calls my "ACDC"......lmao
totally awesome shots...the tower at night is fabulous and the view is amazing (tho I am not sure I would want to go up there...not good with tall buildings!)
@sticksandstones - thank you, jenny. i was running out of 'one-photo' ideas already and quite glad although feel lost at the same time that it has ended. but it was a lot easier than the 'a month of selfie' challenge.
@patticake - aw, patti, it's only 1500 feet above ground! hehehe. well, when you come and visit, i would have to treat you somewhere else then.
Great series of shots, I really enjoyed visiting To every night ... ;-)
@silverdraggin - no, thank you! and never say never, because you never know!
@pamfromcalgary - thanks, pam!
@roth - that was one of my ideas, but remember this is just one side of the city. i was thinking more of a map.

@bkbinthecity - thank you.
@slang - thank you, my friend. so glad you liked it. no lunch, but i sat down briefly at "horizons bar" to observe people.
@ilseal - afraid of heights?! how are we going to do the edgewalk then? hehehe.
