We woke up to what had clearly been a very heavy rain. Conversation went something like this:
Jim: It must have poured last night. It's a mess out there.
Taffy: Mmmm? (thinking to herself, "oh good, puddles")
Jim: It's going to be hard walking Nutmeg with the rain and mud.
Taffy: Yep... (thinking to herself, "but there will be puddles")
Many had drained by the time I was able to take photos this afternoon, but this cooperative cyclist happened through as I was shooting the reflecting trees and fence.
Wonderful reflections - and the timing of the cyclist was perfect. Funny how we think differently now, isn't it? Where before we would think 'oh drat - rain!' - now it's 'oooh - rain = puddles - reflections'.
@pflaume That makes me feel good -- thinking like a photographer!
@tinac1@jankoos Thanks -- and Jan, you're so right! (although it's really pouring and isn't supposed to stop all night, and we need to walk the dog at some point, so I am definitely thinking, 'drat, it's raining!' right now) @jaynspain Thank you! @sjouk Thanks for the fav! @gerry@kazlamont@salemslot@colie@kimshots Thank you for your kind comments. @wendyhgill Thanks for the fav, Wendy!
@sgiesman Thanks Sarah -- I felt like I should shout 'thank you' to him but he was gone in a flash. Lucky capture on my part.
@kwind @photodude Thank you!
