This is the destination of the Hidden Valley Trail to Font Lake trail hike that we did today with our visiting friends and their two dogs. Sadie and Bella (canines) loved the hike and the reward of a swim at the end. The photo in my main album ( http://365project.org/taffy/365/2013-07-30) was taken from this spot, but as a closeup.
Taffy, I would never have thought to put the reeds in so prominent place in the foreground. This really works. I like the contrasting colors that go so well together. Very Nicely done!
This is so pretty! We have a place in Cape May NJ we like to walk and it has a pond similar to this. It's so pretty and on a day like this one- it's hard to go home!

Dawn and Catherine, thanks so much for your kind comments! And Dawn, the fav. Catherine, I did bring up the blacks in post production which I think deepened the blue. But it was a very blue sky so I wanted to convey that in the photo. Especially since in the one in my main album, I made it look like dusk! Fun to see what post processing allows -- imaginations gone wild!
