Still practicing intentional bokeh. Bokeh sometimes seems to make or break a photo, setting up the main image. In this one, the light was streaming into the wooded area of Millers Marsh. I was surprised to see these dead leaves still hanging on the branch, amid all these rich green stuff. It reminded me that summer is 2/3 over. Sad!! But the bright light on the leaves and the bokeh behind led me to the shot and I liked how it turned out.
Looks at that rich autumn color from the leaves in the lower part of the photo is so satisfying. I like your title too, that reflected my thought today when I have no photo to post.
@janine3 Thanks Janine. I want to go back to Millers Marsh with a macro lens and with a telephoto. There was a lot to capture but I had the wrong lens with me for some of it. It would be a good photowalk when you come back up!
