Theatre night by wakelys

Theatre night

This was in the foyer cafe bar. I was waiting for my brother to arrive so enjoyed a few minutes people watching.

The evening (1hour) was listening to Dame Judy Dench to help raise funds for Home-Start Winchester.

She talked about her career on stage and screen – and life in lockdown.

It was strange going to the theatre but people were wearing masks although not keeping their distance.
Would love to have seen Judy Dench. I have enjoyed many of her movies. Nice candid capture!

This is a terrific capture of the moment, though it makes me a little claustrophobic. Jealous of your chance to hear Dame Judi.

@marlboromaam @ljmanning @randystreat @onewing @ludwigsdiana thank you. I wasn’t bothered about going. My brothers friend could not make it so I was a late stand in. I am so pleased that I made the effort.

Absolutely love Dame Judy. She's marvellous! You are brave going inside a theatre.

@casablanca I felt that I needed to support my brother. He had been the main career for my sister in law who sadly passed away in July after a relatively short illness. It’s been a tough year but good to see that he Is getting out and about. Judi Dench is one of his favourites.

Very nervous about crowds still. After over 18 months, it’s become a bit ingrained.

@bill_gk I tried to keep to myself but others had such disregard for personal space.

@wakelys Yes, I’m finding that a lot.
