@robz it was a very nice Hotel until 1996 and was a pleasant place to visit. Since being owned by Wetherspoon I am not so keen.

@wakelys Hi Susan - is Wetherspoon a corporation that buys pubs. It seems such a shame when these old pubs lose their original character - it all becomes a bit sterile. :)
