Snow Bunting

In the foreground, left of centre. Not what I expected to see on the beach today.
Two bird enthusiasts reliably informed me that these little birds are from the Artic and usually found much further north rather than on the South Coast of the U.K. There were 2 snow buntings and they were funny to watch as they scurried along. Where was my 600mm lens when I needed it!
