So ,what's your favourite photo over the past week, between 9 - 15 April?
You can post your favourite photo by copying and pasting the code from the 'Share' box that's in your photo page, together with info on when it was taken. Part of the challenge is only selecting ONE picture, so no cheating!
I really loved the theme (in the garden) this week and felt I had a really good week photographically. I like the way this one came out, because I tried a different perspective for it.
I had a tough time picking again this week as I was pretty happy with a few shots. This one didn't originally get posted in my main album, in hindsight it probably should've. Taken April15.
I like this one because it was so unexpected. These people were all in a very jovial mood so it was easy to snap a photo. My version of a street photo...
Definitely this one. I planned and took this picture in honour of my Mum's 70th birthday. She lives on the other side of the country so we couldn't congratulate her in person that day.
This one, I think. I managed to get the shot I thought I wanted to get; then looked at it on the computer and hated it. But with editing - much, much more editing than I normally do - I got something I really like.
"Worrying is like a rocking chair, it gives you something to do, but it gets you nowhere." ~Glenn Turner
The sun was going down and I had yet to take a photo today. I thought of this quote (because I have been doing my share of worrying lately) so I grabbed this rocking chair from my childhood and headed out into the field. I set it in the meadow, put my camera on the ground and without looking through the viewfinder, I aimed the lens towards the chair. I was pleasantly surprised to have captured an unplanned sun flare. I like that light is shining through in this metaphor.
Its got to be my last minute shoot with Ashlea on the 10th. And when I say last minute, I think it was closer to my signing up to the model day 1.5 hours before the shoot
I didn't have as strong of a week as last time but most of my shots turned out OK. I'm happy with the editing/processing I did on this even though I have no idea how to recreate it.
I was quite pleased with this one, taken in deep shadow but rescued with a bit of selective dodge and burn, with some adjustment of the tone curves, which I think has enhanced the detail reasonably well without making it look too artificial.
taken 15/04
ive wanted to do this one for SO long and it turned out exactly how i wanted it to, so gotta be pleased with that :)
This is the sunrise one morning before rushing into work.
I was really happy with this portrait of my son.

Loved this shot of my friend Charlotte.
This week also brought the first sign of Summer, with a few days of warm sun.
So my favourite has to be this one.
my fav

i like how delicate the spring blossoms are....
To quote @gingersanders; "Oddly cool".
And my favourite I uploaded in this period...
This one. I got so excited about it when I took it. It turned out exactly how I wanted/envisioned it.
this one as its rare that my oldest has the paitence to help me with something like this

Taken on the 9th, a photo which reminds me of a wonderful warm, sunny, happy day.
Exquisite photography
This one i was so impressed how it came out considering I only had my iphone on me!
End of the work day, which may explain why the guy on the left looks like a zombie to me.

PS- i love the bee photo dvarey!
Definitely this one as it took loads of effort but I got to enjoy the experience with my fellow 365er (my hubby).

Here is my favorite from the 9-15. The description says it all.
maybe I'm processing too much on PS but I love it, it's like another dimension to the process.
