Thursday-morning Farmer's market is a ritual for most of us here. We typically arrive shortly after it opens and can spend an hour greeting friends! Today's quest was the "Rosemary & SeaSalt Foccia" that is SO good I can't write about it or I'll be back in the kitchen for a slice (and it's 12:30 AM!)
Most interesting was that Ken was approached by a man who looked the part of a Hollywood writer, and because Ken was wearing his "Bounty" shirt (there on the rt), the man wanted him to know about Lunenburg's first "Doc Fest" in mid September. (Right up our alley! We'll love it!) They've done a documentary about the Tall Ship Bounty that was built here in Lunenburg, used in the movie, and which sank during Hurricane Sandy. http://365project.org/Weezilou/365/2012-10-29
I was chatting with a new friend I met the day of the dog walk... She's a long-time resident, and she and her husband are active town volunteers. When she asked if she could pencil me in for assisting in some activities *next* summer, I added that I couldn't be sure until I know if we'll have house guests arriving. Her response was that, here in Lunenburg, you're in for a surprise every day you open your front door!
@Weezilou After a second glance, I love the two ladies in the stands, probably drinking their "Timmies"! My son in law, who plays hockey, and is visiting us loves this shot, too.
