WHAT are they thinking?!") "The Germans" did an outstanding job, but we kept looking at the room and it was gnawing at us that something wasn't right...
And then I saw it! I said to Ken that we needed to repaint (Translate: "I'd like it if you'd repaint"!) We took a tile to the store and was offered help by a nice young lady (whom I initially thought too young to know what we'd need...) (Duh,,,*I* hadn't known what we'd need and already did the whole thing all wrong!) Like an Art Instructor, she deftly selected swatches and made a template to look at our wood colour with the new paint choice... I knew then and there it would be "perfect"! That was about 10 on Thursday and that night the room was redone! We're going to surprise the builder when he comes on Monday to finish installing the shower.
I'm going to write on a piece of paper, "I wondered if you were going to like that after all..." & "I wondered if you'd see why this was all wrong" because I'm betting that's what everyone says! I'm usually pretty good with colour, but this was "the cart before the horse"... ...much much happier now!

@dailypix Thank you! For the life of me, I can't recall the colour of the room before the remodel...but when the builder said to pick a colour, I just went with a lavender he'd used successfully in the laundry room upstairs... Can you tell I'm not an Interior decorator?!
@pyrrhula Thanks, Ferry! It gets the glass and hardware on Monday...and we're done in there! We're *SO* much happier with the greatly improved color!!!
