The fog returned this morning and I couldn't help but throw on my clothes and jump on my bike. Making for quite a busy day. Cycled down the Tottenham towpath and onto the marshes for a loop round the atmospheric fogginess. Blisteringly cold and flecks of ice rained down softly as the sun tried to pierce through.
Was only back home long enough to stop my extremities from tingling before I was off again to Zumba. Picked up top-up shopping on the way back. R arrived not long after, her flight having been delayed by the fog, and we lunched on exotic mushrooms and halloumi.
Off out now to see some folk music. Sam Sweeney and his solo fiddle at Cecil Sharp House.
3 good things
1. Fog and ice on the marshes - non-working day, so could enjoy it.
2. A good Zumba class, feeling up to it.
3. A hedonistic midweek hot bath.
Hello! Just seen on landscape comp! love this and then I read its the Walthamstow marshes. I lived in Walthamstow back in the day for a few years and still have English friends living there! Wouldn't it be funny if you knew them. My friend Alec goes to the local photography club.
