Having seen a solitary daffodil last week in Green Park, I was still surprised to see two whole clumps of them this morning in a very frosty park.
Long busy day at work - lots of meetings and also a couple of chats with staff who weren't altogether happy about things. Ended up missing choir which was unfortunate but was running late and felt I needed to curl up quietly with my book for half an hour.
3 good things
1. Proper winter weather - foggy in Walthamstow and brightly frosty in the parks.
2. Getting into Philip Pullman's Ruby in the Smoke - turning out to be a really good read.
3. Pizza supper with Everyone Else Burns and tea and cake in bed - decadent end to a fraughtish day.

Daffodils means spring is around the corner.
Important to be good to yourself
