Red vine tomatoes

October rainbow challenge - Week 1: Natural World - Monday: Red

Thought I'd have a go at one of these challenge-type jobbies http://365project.org/discuss/themes-competitions/14457/october-rainbow-challenge#comment-431880. This one looks quite good, because if you do it right, at the end of the month, your month-view will look like a rainbow as all the thumbnails for each day align colour-wise.

I've added my own extra challenge of theming my weeks too - so we'll see how far I get ...

A pissy day today weather-wise, can you believe this time last year saw the hottest October day ever? Choir rehearsal at lunchtime, then after work, a mad dash to pick up Dave's violin so I could have my first violin class. Boy it was physically hard work, but I presume that gets better. Got out at 7 and it was getting seriously dark.

Beautiful toms. I had violin lessons many moons ago - would have been ok if I had any idea of rhythm - not sure my frozen shoulder would allow it now.

Straight out of an Italian cook book - you've captured this so well they look tasty and I can almost smell the distinctive fresh vine tomato aroma :)
