Orange oranges by boxplayer

Orange oranges

October rainbow challenge - Week 1: Natural World - Tuesday: Orange - with oranges naturally.

A lazy morning - had breakfast finishing off watching Jane Eyre which I'd fallen asleep to yesterday evening. Then a nice long bath before a mad scramble to get ready and out of the house to meet Dave so we could drive to Chelmsford for his graduation ceremony. Picture in extras. http://365project.org/boxplayer/extras/2012-10-02

Dave finished his teaching in the lifelong learning sector this summer and he's now teaching full-time at the college he works at. Hating every minute of it for various reasons. Hopefully it'll get better - don't think he can cope with too many more sleepless nights and worryfests.

The ceremony was fun if a bit of a palaver - met up with Ben and Dom, Dave's colleagues and co-students, and their families/significant others. They all got togged up in the regalia and spent inordinate amounts of money on 'official' photos. I had a bit of a neurotic moment as we had a quick drink and cheesy chips in the pub, thinking we'd be late for the actual ceremony as it was a bit of walk away.

But all went fine even though the expected rain came early - the ceremony was just short of interminable thankfully and we went back to the pub afterwards for a bite.

Well I thought about fiddling with oranges for today, obviously, but couldn't think how to make them look any good. You certainly have! Lovely light, great juicy look! Loved reading about the 'just short of interminable' grad ceremony. Glad you both survived!
