A morning spent piling stuff into the car and driving it down to the tip. An afternoon wandering over to the village for the Vestry House Museum Apple Day - loads of locally-scrumped traditional varieties of apples and some morris dancing thrown in for good measure. Absolutely mobbed with hordes of families with fairly young children feverishly running about and excited by all the apple bobbing and general apple shenanigans. Not for the faint-hearted.
