This discussion chain is to highlight the work of someone else and show a photo that you marked as +FAV (on the top of the screen) this week. Having people FAV your photo lets you know that what you did really connected with other photographers and for the new members, it really helps get that photo to the popular page. We do this post every week and it is a great way to see work you might of missed or find someone new to follow.
So find a fav from this week and include their user name and why you connected with this photo. Please don't forget to CREDIT their photo with the username!
There are two easy ways to add pictures on to the discussion.
The first is a full size photo: 1) Click on your favorite photo and bring up its page. 2)Look at the right side of your monitor, and go to the word SHARE (it is below tags) 3) go to the box and copy the long address 4) Come back to the discussion, and then paste. 5) If it is not your photo also tag the person who it belongs to so they know you love it (@name) remember no punctuation on either side of the @and name.
The second is to have a smaller file size so to keep the site from getting overwhelmed. http://365project.org/discuss/general/1323/how-to-adding-an-image-in-a-discussion.
This one made by @smallenburg , not just because Sandra made a great picture here but also because it's taken in the renewed Stedelijk Museum of Modern art here in Amsterdam and I'm so much looking forward to visit it after all those years of closed doors!
Really love @chewyteeth 's work with models and processing in various settings. Really like his sensibility, and here particularly a Marie-Antionette meets bogan flannelette stylistic. Goes beyond new romanticism.
This week the folks I follow stunned me with some amazing shots both in nature and of the human sort. But I decided to go with the funnier side of the human connection and a shot by one of my newest followers/followees, Duong Minh Duc, @bananaholic. I just love the expression on this boy's face!
I'm going to go with this one from @parohodov because I was so excited to see his return to 365 and this is a very impressive self portrait with his new son... the contrast of strength and vulnerability along with the excellent lighting make for a very powerful portrait.
Something about the inkiness of the palm oil (I'm reliably told thats what the body paint is) and the kind but sincere face the man has. I'm also drawn to tribal culture and the complete polarity it has compared with our western world. I look forward to more like this! :)
@sarajeal - Oh thank you Sara, it is always an honour to receive recognition from one's peers and I do love this thread. Thank you.
In response, I believe I shall change the name of this thread to "My favourite Emily shot for the week" because once again the Lurker in me has believed that this shot from Miss Tull is a) Creative, b) Well executed and C) A photo that I would have likened to have took.
And thanks so much for putting mine up here @onie. I would have put yours up here but its already here.... I loved Michelles (@michelle58) deconstructed flower.
Just keep showing up each week with a fave and I'll be there. I hear the sands of time are getting low, and I may have to keep an eye on flickr a little more often? Thanks for all the fish.
@cjphoto Hi chris, just to let you know, Much as i wish this was my photo, you must have clicked the wrong user name! The photo belongs to Aaron, So you had better check & change it so he gets the recognition he deserves! Thanks.
This one by @cromwell. I think I can safely say that if I had been the photographer on the spot this photo would not exist...I aspire to be this brave.
@annbo - Thank you very much Ann for bringing it to my attention. Don’t know how I clicked the wrong user name by mistake. I’m really sorry about the mix up.
I really like this recent photo done by Jerry Plume @orangecrush. I think it has excellent tones, and the sky is fantastic. The softness of the tree is also a great touch. Nice job Jerry. A great choice for B/W.
@jsw0109....i love everything about this shot....just can't remember if i fav'd it this week...pretty sure i did.....that cough medicine is eating my brain.
I think this week, my fave fav goes to @onie Leonie. She's been trying some new stuff and I think she did an awesome job of this... no photoshop involved, real light painting with a torch :)
This is my favorite fav this week @anzere03

Karenann has great skills . . . a majority of my FAVs are from her. She has a great eye for composition, and her macro shots are awesome!
