This discussion chain is to highlight the work of someone else and show a photo that you marked as +FAV (on the top of the screen) this week. Having people FAV your photo lets you know that what you did really connected with other photographers and for the new members, it really helps get that photo to the popular page. We do this post every week and it is a great way to see work you might of missed or find someone new to follow.
So find a fav from this week and include their user name and why you connected with this photo. Please don't forget to CREDIT their photo with the username!
There are two easy ways to add pictures on to the discussion.
The first is a full size photo: 1) Click on your favorite photo and bring up its page. 2)Look at the right side of your monitor, and go to the word SHARE (it is below tags) 3) go to the box and copy the long address 4) Come back to the discussion, and then paste. 5) If it is not your photo also tag the person who it belongs to so they know you love it (@name) remember no punctuation on either side of the @and name.
The second is to have a smaller file size so to keep the site from getting overwhelmed. http://365project.org/discuss/general/1323/how-to-adding-an-image-in-a-discussion.
I think Donna's shot @pointnshoot28 of this bird of paradise is beautiful. It is a difficult flower to shoot because there is a lot going on, she makes it look like a work of art
I have been really busy this week and only scoped through few people this past week.. This one just made me smile. The colors were so beautiful!!!! by @lyno
Lots of good stuff to choose from this week. I'm gonna go with this one From leigh h ย @leigh7900 because I love an unposed portrait shot, especially when it's of a cute kid just being a kid.
@lyno That sure is a stunner!!! I LOVE it. This week I faved a ton of gorgeous autumn shots, but I'm going to highlight April's casual country girl portrait. I saw it on the latest page when she posted it and I immediately faved it because it just embodies so much natural happiness and honest, goodness, be happy with yourself, country girl spirit. Love it. @aprilmilani
It has been an amazing week with so many beautiful shots that I have FAVed, so it has not been easy, but I choose this one from @jgpittenger Jane Pittenger:
Just fav'd this one. Found it thru another thread it it by @sparkle and just love it. I have a hard time picking my favorite fav. So many good images out here!
@gprosper26 Hi, Gina. . . if you could edit your entry and be sure to put the owner's username with your post. . .that way, others can easily know who you are crediting with your compliment!
WOW! There were so many incredible photos this week, I had quite a few that I fav'd. I think the one by Jim (@jcarrollphoto) really made an immediate impression on me. Such a fantastic portrait photo!
This one by Juliette Packingham @sparkle.
Just something about it, breaking the rule of thirds, great focus and all the movement behind him. A slice of life photo.
Some truly remarkable work posted here so far. It helped me discover a few new people to follow. As always, Lyn's @lyno Weekly thread is light years above what the PP has to offer. Take a bow, Lyn.
@ozziehoffy@houdiniem - Oh wow oh wow oh wow! Thank you so much Cassandra and Emily! The cool thing for me is that these two shots were taken exactly 24 hours apart and to me, it really demonstrates the two opposites that sums up Papua New Guinea and that being the pure untouched beauty of the country and the raw aggression that is life on the streets of Port Moresby. Thanks :D
Oh and my favourite fave for this week just happens to be another moment of magic from Emily. This shot may just be one of my all-time faves, and I feel demonstrates the Artist that Emily is... this shot is a lovely amalgamation of photographs and I am starting to waffle on now.... here's the shot.
I agree to Lyn, Patty @socalgal had an awesome week. Luckily other 365er added her photos already and made it quite easy for me to vote for this brilliant shot from Victoria Stowe @vstowe. It's clever title is "Heels or Fangs?"
I've really been enjoying Jeff's @jsw0109 work and this one I really like a lot. All that color and yet you see that POP of rain umbrellas that just balances the shot off perfectly imo.
@cromwell thank you, kind sir, for the lovely words. . .I am so glad I volunteered to host this thread. It offers such stunning beauty and magic every single week. I feel blessed to be associated with it!
Really tough choice as there were so many fantastic photos this period. But I finally chose this one by @cindymc that was not in a default album, and because of that I believe it was overlooked. Definitely top 20 quality!
I would have to say my favorite is Carole's egret. She did it in two different versions but my favorite was the black & white. I love the shimmery pond in the background with the soft tufts of grass and the highlight on the graceful egret in the foreground. I would love to frame it and hang it on my wall.
My favourite fav is this one by Cheri @cvanauker
@vposey This one made my heart happy!
I really like this one @sparkle
Ruth was tempted to downplay the colors in this beautiful shot.
and the same goes for @johnnyfrs
@pammerritt
You three! If you could see the big smile on my face right now....! Thank you for your incredibly sweet comments!
@denisedaly @annbo
My version didn't do so well.
