This discussion chain is to highlight the work of someone else and show a photo that you marked as +FAV (on the top of the screen) this week. Having people FAV your photo lets you know that what you did really connected with other photographers and for the new members, it really helps get that photo to the popular page. We do this post every week and it is a great way to see work you might of missed or find someone new to follow.
So find a fav from this week and include their user name and why you connected with this photo. Please don't forget to CREDIT their photo with the username!
There are two easy ways to add pictures on to the discussion.
The first is a full size photo: 1) Click on your favorite photo and bring up its page. 2)Look at the right side of your monitor, and go to the word SHARE (it is below tags) 3) go to the box and copy the long address 4) Come back to the discussion, and then paste. 5) If it is not your photo also tag the person who it belongs to so they know you love it (@name) remember no punctuation on either side of the @and name.
The second is to have a smaller file size so to keep the site from getting overwhelmed. http://365project.org/discuss/general/1323/how-to-adding-an-image-in-a-discussion.
This was my first FAV of 2013 by @pammerritt. Why ? Well I said it in the comment - for me a great landscape photograph is one that makes me want to visit that same spot - and this really does. I want to walk down that snowy track, listen to the silence of the woods and see Stony Pond for myself.
If you know me and you know Jason there is simply no other photo to choose. While I completely enjoyed PNG, I so missed this guy and was excited to see him on the 1st. @bobfoto
@lyno by the way, you are doing an excellent job at this thread and I am so glad that you took over this. It takes a lot of inbox messages, but it is so enjoyable.
i faved a lot of photos this week... so many wonderful images as folks finished out the year... i'm going to pick this one by @tinmaddog because of its sheer funkiness...
This one by @sgoodin1. We are absolutely buried in snow right now and I walk right by Pine trees every day without appreciating their beauty..To me this is just stunning.
@aprilmilani - thank you so much april! I am honored and so thankful you thought to include me here....I am not much of a participant on 365 this time around, but I think it is such a great place for talent and inspiration! :)) made my day!
Many more faves than usual this week - that made it really hard to choose, but this one by Helene @parisouailleurs is so reminiscent of Paris that it had to be my choice this week.
@Mdfphoto I chose this one because it seems this dog has so much emotion in its eyes and that's my favorite kind of dog. The lighting is gorgeous and the dog reminds me of my first dog ever.
My favorite of my first week in 365 was by @lyno. I love photos of regular objects that are presented in new and interesting ways. I also love the lines here.
@btorrey@phillyphotos@filsie65 - Oh Brenda and Paula, thank you for faving Mr Froggy and Phil, thank you in help making my end of year shot a popular one! *JD does happy dance of joy*
For me, I had two which I found hard to decide just one, but my good friend and a big reason for me starting this project in the first place has just kick started his project again and he came up with this beautiful b'fly. Welcome back Tim, although I know you really didn't leave.
I really look forward to this thread, and I had it all worked out until someone threw a spanner in the works yesterday. So sorry folks, but I really have to pick two this week because they're both showstoppers.
First of all, I love the great shot of the ocean and clouds, and then this was so well done and thought provoking and a great commentary also! @matheusjm
@elliotwb - Elliot - From one Elliott to and another thx you so much for the honorable highlight of my pic. I'm going to blow this one up for my office.
Yeah, yeah... I know. This picture wasn't taken last week but I didn't have a chance to do submit in a while. Hands down, this shot from @andycoleborn KICKS ASS! I love the blue in the trees busting up the line the eye expects to see. This is brilliant and I love it and I'm using it a week late.
@northy would have posted Mira's 366 video here if I could have shared because it was such an outstanding representation of her project. This was here 365th photo and is quite amazing
@okavangohippo I faved this beautiful shot of a lesser jacana because of the gorgeous reflections and the delightfully simple, sharp image of this rarely-seen bird.
Really like the wonderful use of negative space, and sharp focus on the single snowflake in Pam's @pamerritt photo from the 2nd. Definitely my favorite fave this week :-)
@grizzlysghost wow! Aaron! Thanks for the mention on here! :9) glad you liked my giant killer bug! I wish he knew he was famous...but doubt I will ever see him again! Thanks, again!
I love this one by @scooter. I love the colours and the bokeh. I have seen a few shots of books in this position but scooter has done it with a twist. Very cool.
So tricky this week - it was very nearly one (or all) of @humphreyhippo's but in the end I loved the whole concept of @rachelmackenzie's Braille biscuit.
I've only been here a few days but have found so many favorites already! I am choosing to highlight an image by Jeff Walker (@jsw0109) because I love so many of his pics. Red barns + Snow = Love!!
@judithg Awwwh Judith, thank you so so much. I am a huge fan of your amazing photographs so for you to pick one of mine is a massive compliment. Thank you so much. Xx
