Wellington

Last week I spent a couple of days in Wellington. I took this photo from the ferry after deciding to visit Somes Island in the middle of the harbour. Wellington is rather unique in New Zealand for all the older homes built so close together and on hilly sites. Every other city developed with 1/4 acre sections and plenty of room to spread out.

This so reminds me of the song f\rom the sixties - "Little boxes on the hillside" Every time I fly in and out of Wellington I think of this song (unless it is so bumpy I am hanging on for grim death lol). This would be great for a song title challenge but I don't know what has happened to that.
