A quick drive over to Richmond this morning to deliver the greeting cards and my invoice.
In the afternoon I had a brief meeting at the Landmark Centre who seem like they may want to buy my spinner which is great news. I also agreed on their Christmas card selection for delivery a little later in the year.
With most card orders in, I needed to order a reprint of 10 of my designs and also order envelopes and celllos. It was at this point that I discovered the company I have been using for over ten years, actually went into receivership last month. This is really sad as I often chatted on the phone with the people working there and they were very competitive in pricing - could the se why they went under? Anyway, I spent the next hour on the computer and managed to find two alternate suppliers via Ebay although the unit cost of my cards will be going up by 5p or so (doesn’t sound much but eats into profit margins).
