Mannequin - Composition study: rule of thirds

Another of the exercises...rule-of-thirds. Placing Manny's head in that third-intersection.
Great composition, well executed exercise!

Hi Granagringa - it was interesting to hear that you are also doing the AYWMC project. I'm pretty sure that you already know a lot of this stuff!! I'm having a go at it too - mainly as a way to learn how to use the IR camera. It's been pretty good so far with lots of new ideas (new for me anyway) but the IR results are not always the best LOL I'll look forward to following your images. Cheers Rob

@robz Hi...ok, 1st - IR camera...now I'm really impressed! And as far as Emma Davies program...we both know so much about her early stuff but then she does go on. And I really feel as if it's a good review to be more conscious of these. And maybe you can help as I seem to keep losing her emails...lol. Take care, nice to be on this journey with you!

The aywmc communications do see to be a bit confused - I get the emails but they often don't seem to give you all of the required info and posting directions. I also joined the Facebook group and it is much easier to follow - all the various sections are linked together. If you're not on Facebook just let me know if something doesn't turn up and I'll send you a link. The IR camera is a second hand Nikon D70 which was converted to IR - so I had no idea of how to use anything on it! It's been an interesting learning curve re the camera and the IR aspect is just fascinating - you never know what's going to appear because it all just looks normal through the eyepiece. Cheers for now Rob

@robz Thanks, I'll try that. Hey, and if I can help... I have my old Canon than I was thinking to converting to IR; let me know what you think after you've given yours a whirl.
