A shot from my DC adventure on Sunday. This guy and his friends were hanging out beside the popcorn vendor and someone was feeding them popcorn. I think they are so used to people that they would take it right out of your palm. After posting on my facebook page a friend mentioned he thinks they are European Starlings. Introduced in 1890 as part of a plan to introduce to the U.S. all the birds mentioned in the works of Shakespeare.
