Lots of our grape-growers/vineyards have either been burned (Adelaide Hills) or have their grapes taint by smoke. Not looking good for the vintage in lots of places here.

Nice! We will soon be able to purchase South African grapes or juice for wine making. I intend to make a batch of S.A. Wine this spring.

Lovely colours, I'm looking forward to trying some South African wine. We've applied for our online Kenyan visas but will have to do the Zimbabwe and Tanzania on arrival.

@golftragic That is quite awful Marnie, we had it here two years ago, some vineyards suffered big time as they are all adjacent to one another on the slopes of the Helderberg :(
@pej That sounds amazing Paul, are you in the wine business or is it just a hobby? Good luck ;-)
@merrelyn That sound great Merrelyn, I have not forgotten you and will respond to your mail soon :-)

Wine making is just a hobby for me.
