This is for the landscape challenge. Elephant Rocks has become a recognised wild place in our area with huge rock formations. Abseiling lessons go on here and of course its a playground for children climbing. The wee girl on the end of this particular rock is our grandchild from Japan.
Strange and fascinating landscape - great place to spread the picnic rug. A great pov as the colour draws the eye to the centre and the little girl creates a focal point from which to explore the area further. Is this anywhere near Weka Pass or am I in the wrong part of the country?
Lovely homely shot with the picnic blanket ! Fascinating rock formations but the piece de resistance is the tiny figure of your grandaughter on the end of that rock! Fave!
