I have been on the run all day and just before I went to have my hair cut today I wandered down to the marina to find a 365 picture. I spotted about 4 dolphins doing a spot of fishing, but this was the best shot I could get of them. This one had a baby with her but I missed getting the two together.
It has been a pretty chilly, grey day today. Not the best day for photography.
I have been in and out all day and am off out again tonight, so no chance to get another photo now. This will have to do.
Looks like we might be challenged for a few days with the way the weather has changed since yesterday! Oh for a nice warm fire! well done on capturing the dolphin!
@gerry@paulaw thanks Gerry and Paula. I wasn't terribly pleased with this photo, but it was the best of a bad lot yesterday. It was such a grey day, but it is always nice to see dolphins swimming around. We get such a lot of them here.
@steampowered@joluise Thanks Paul and Jo. It has gone very grey, wet and chilly here now and I wasn't terribly pleased with this photo, but it is lovely to see the dolphins swimming around, even though I didn't get a very good shot of them. We are lucky that they come so close to the shore, but the best shots are always out on a boat when they leap out of the water to watch us.
@angelat Tell me about it. Last night it poured with rain all night and we had to go to Soldiers Point where it looked as though they had had a storm. Most of it missed us though. We just got one clap of thunder and that was it, luckily. Pretty wet and miserable today so far though. We are thankful for the fire.
@onewing so cold that for the first time in my life I wore two winter nighties! Might have to try a tracksuit next! nothing like making a fashion statement!
@angelat Ha Ha! Not got to the two winter nightie stage yet. Our wood burner keeps the house pretty warm all night, but I do have a hot water bottle!!! We lived in Melbourne before we moved to NSW so it was much colder down there in winter. My daughter lives in the Dandenong hills so it is freezing up there in winter.
