It is a very grey and wet day today, so this is another photo taken on Thursday.
I spotted this digger in a paddock on someone's property when we were on our way out of the bay on Thursday, so thought I would try and capture it on our way home.
We have had so much rain the last week that some of the low lying land around Salt Ash is quite waterlogged. I don't think the owner of this property is going anywhere soon with his digger and he may even need his wellies to walk to his shed too.
On this stretch of Nelson Bay Road there are road works so it is impossible to stop to take a photo. This was taken as we were travelling at 80 kph and I only had one go at getting the shot. I am quite pleased with the results under those conditions. The benefit of taking this from the car as we passed saved me getting my feet wet.
Really captures the essence of the wet weather. We are finally getting some rain, overcast and light rain all day, lovely, all tanks are happily overflowing and the garden is lapping it up :-)
Well this is a fabulous shot from a travelling car Babs, I am impressed. Love the scene and the reflections in the water too. So much rain here and more to come, the weather patterns are changing.
Everything does look pretty soggy! I wish you pleasant weather soon! Great shot. It is so clear! If I took a photo while moving, my photos would be even more blurry than they already are!
I think I can safely say I have never taken a decent pic from a moving car - and believe me I've tried. You have done a great job here Babs, so much detail and all so clear.

Thank you all so much. Sorry for the group reply but I am on catch up again. Tried to connect last night and this morning but the 365 server was down.
I was pleased with this shot as I only got one photo as we drove past and didn't know until I got home how clear it would be.
We are not used to this much rain. I suppose it is good though because it damps down the ground and will probably save us from too many bush fires in summer.
Salt Ash (where this photo was taken) is very low lying land though and very often gets flooded even after a couple of days of heavy rain.
Looks as if you've got your share of the rain from this event. We weren't so lucky this week - just 10mm but on top of the earlier fall, boy, am I having fun in my garden this weekend.
@ubobohobo@tabarlett@eyesmile@lilminimonka@almondjoy1@kwiksilver Thanks so much. Sorry for the slow response, but I think the server was down for a while over the weekend.
Luckily the rain has stopped now, but I have just heard that there is more on the way. Ugh.
