Rise of the Guardians Street Art

Our first stop on the North Island of New Zealand was at Tauranga and this photo was taken from the ship as we docked.

This piece of street art was painted by Charles and Janine Williams.

David's brother lived near Tauranga for a few years and we had already visited lots of places in the area, so rather than go on any of the ships tours, we just hired a car and visited a few of the places we hadn't been to previously.
Wow! That's really impressive, Babs. Thanks for sharing.

An amazing piece of street art. Looks almost real - very 3D. Wonderful pov too. More powerful than at street level, I imagine.

Sorry for the late reply, but it has been a busy few days. Friday we were out for lunch with friends and then back to their house afterwards for a cuppa and a chat. Saturday we were in Newcastle all day and had lunch out there too. Today we have been for lunch at a friends house and they were showing us their holiday photos of Cyprus. We lived there for 3 years 30 years ago so it was lovely to see how it had changed in some areas and still the same in others. They had one photo of the Temple of Apollo and it is still being built. ha ha.
