Yesterday I posted a rather calm ocean photo taken at Tanilba Bay last Thursday and since then we have had quite wild weather with an east coast low hitting the coast of New South Wales and Queensland.
The rain has stopped today and the wind has calmed slightly, but as you can see it is still quite wild.
While I was out shopping today I nipped up to Boat Harbour and took this photo of the ocean. I almost got blown over with the force of the wind.
Powerful. There's a certain excitement just looking at the sea in these conditions. We have watched the news and seen all the dramatic headlines. I just hope you are safe and your power has not been cut off.
All these sea pictures I am seeing are making me realise how long it is since I have been to the coast. Thank you - this takes me there and I can hear the waves crashing and feel the power of the wind and the sea. (well almost).
@helenhall Thanks Helen. I am so lucky to live so close to the ocean, only about 400 metres away from our house, but this beach is a short drive away and is one of my favourite spots for watching the whales pass by. Not this day though.
