My walk today consisted of spending the day walking around the John Hunter Hospital. Here are some of the things and people I saw.
John Hunter Hospital entrance
Car Park
Gift Shop
Corridor
Prof Nicholas Talley
Radiology
Walkway
Patient
Café Window
The Prof said it was okay for me to post his photo and he assures me he isn't wanted by the police. He is a lovely man and was awarded Companion of the Order of Australia (AC) in the New Year Honours List this year.
It takes the boredom out of spending the day at hospital when you have a camera in your hand.
Test results don't look good and it appears that I can't avoid surgery.
Really interesting, I shouldn't think there are many people who've taken a camera to their hospital appointment! I'm sure the prof was delighted to be included.
Sorry about your test results though.
Babs, sorry to hear you cannot avoid surgery but hope it will help you. I have to confess that my eye was instantly drawn to the Prof in the centre shot who looks a man to trust. Take good care.
Sorry to hear about the probability of surgery - hope it will be over without any pain. Lovely shots in your collage; pity they are taken in a place where nobody wants to be.
So sorry to hear that you will have to undergo surgery Babs, and feel it is inappropriate to say great collage depicting your day... but at least it gave you something to take your mind, temporarily, off the news and being in hospital. x
Great collage. I just wanted to thank. Many months ago you introduced me to Gavin Hoey's Videos particularly the Globe one. I used this idea of one of the creative evenings at my photo club and I came first!
Nice collage of the hospital. I am sorry about your news, but feel the doctors will do good and you will be better afterward. I have a surgery coming up in about three weeks mysekf. So I understand your being anxious about it.
A great collage, so sorry the results weren’t what you wanted to hear. I am there on Friday, have to have an MRI it promises to be near on an hour, which for me is very difficult as I can’t lay that long so they have said I can do it in two halves, I don’t know what’s worse all at once or having to go back in!!
What great use you made of your hospital, appointment Babs. No wasting time on your watch! Not good news re more surgery though, that's a real bummer! Your man has a kind face!
you spend a lot of time at the hospital Babs, so good idea to get the camera out for your walk photoshoot. Hope you can keep your spirits up despite the not so good news. As long as there is an answer in the long run ..... I hope so. Your consultant looks just the part, very approachable.
So sorry to hear about your test results Babs. I sure hope everything goes well.
Thanks for sharing your walk to the thread. I've really enjoyed walking with everyone through their photos.
Wonderful collage of your walk around the hospital. So sorry to hear about your test results and possible surgery. I hope all goes well with everything involved.
Sorry about your test results though.
Prof Talley does have a kind face doesn't he. He is a lovely chap. You never feel as though you are being rushed with him like you do with some doctors and he even let me take his photo. I bet that doesn't happen to often during his consultations.
