I love this, I always have difficulty with my Crystal ball photos and getting the photo in the ball the right side up!
How did you do this in Photoshop?
@radiogirl There are lots of tutorials on YouTube on how to flip crystal ball photos but this photo was done completely in photoshop, not in a crystal ball.
Select your picture decide which part is going to be edited and then select elliptical marquee tool and hold down the shift key. Start at one corner and drag, by holding the shift key you get a perfect circle.
Select Filter/Distort/spherize 100% OK, It makes the image like a sphere.
Go to Layer New New Layer OK
With black as foreground colour click on Edit Stroke width 100 pixels Inside
Then go to filter/blur/gaussian blur radius 90 pixels
Layer Merge Down and then Select/Deselect. Then crop to how you want the finished image to be.
