My first visit to Beresford Dale and such a pretty place. The sun was very bright on the background hills and it was very shady on the water. Two images taken - camera on tripod - with exposure compensation. Both images taken into PS in layers and using the brush tool rub out the overexposed parts of the top layer. You probably all know how to do this but it was a revelation to me!! Finally I know how to get the image when you have such extremes of light in the shot. My two days with Simon were worth it just to learn this!!

Many thanks for your lovely comments on my images - so very much appreciated!!
Thank you for the correction, my fault, I regularly swap them around in my head! We see both on the moor where I live.
