As we walk through the woods Finlay keeps stopping and waiting for me to call "Finlay Come!!" He learnt very quickly when I was teaching him recall that if he stayed back and waited for the call he would get a treat!! I give in sometimes but it's surprising how far back he will stay until he finally gives in and slowly follows us. Naughty boy!! He will do anything for a treat!!

They learn so quickly don't they? Fortunately Maggie keeps a sharp eye on me, and if she happens to get out of sight-line however briefly alway checks quickly to make sure I'm still there. Partly due to being a rescue dog, and partly to having a great deal of working dog blood in her.
