My hydrangeas are finally starting to show their colours. I love the deep red of this one. A much better display this year as I didn't cut any of my shrubs back and they seem to be the kind of hydrangea that the flower grows on old wood. Last year I had cut them all back in Spring and had very few flowers. I hadn't realised that there were different types of hydrangea and what you had to do with them differed!!
