Yesterday It was hot (about time too) and Finlay really struggled with the heat as his fur is so thick. So today he had a haircut and as I kept telling the groomer I wanted it shorter underneath and on his legs she has given him what she calls a Teddy Bear cut. Finlay will never be a show dog and he loves to runs around and get wet and muddy and this is much easier to clean. He hasn't got the Westie skirt but I think he looks lovely!!
Viewed it large & fell in love with Finlay all over again! Lol (Don't tell my fur-kids) Great little Diptych - Particularly suited to b&w - I like the "demonstration" pose in the top shot as he shows off his heavy coat & the very cute expression in the lower shot - He seems to be querying - "Well? What do you think of my new do? - I love it BTW - I like a similar cut for my little Golden Cocker as she loves to throw herself into the great outdoors at full speed!
@abhijit@kittikat@smellychelli Thank you so much for your lovely comments!! Kitti I tried everything in the lower shot to get him to put his tail up but he wouldn't - I think the look says "if you think I am going to perform after all that today you can think again!" LOL!!
Finlay is just such a cute dog........I bet he is wonderful company. We are going to get a dog when we retire, not fair at the moment, we spend too long at work
