I'm starting a photographic course today and maybe my first question will be how to successfully photograph spiders!
I got an idea from the post of Hazel, @purplehaze12, for 'box' today to photograph the box my camera came in but it turned out to be too boring. I see she has a lovely spider's web shot too!
@linah
Linda, thak you. I find it so frustrating trying to shoot (not literally) spiders because the focus on the camera keeps varying and fixing on the background. I understand why but not what to do about it!
Oh, and about your focusing question, you can probably manually focus with your bridge camera if it is anything like the panasonic bridge I had until last year. That would be the best way to deal with it I think.
Beautiful shot of the web . I find it always difficult to get them good on a pic. Fav.
I got that seem problem and ask my sun. he said you can nothing do about it. It`s done by the camera systems. You only can try an other pov. of distance.

Yes, thanks, Jan, probably. The main reason I'm going on the course is to learn how to use the camera on manual. Watch this space!

Thank you very much! I owe this shot to Ray who came in from the garden and told me about the spider and its web.
