I guess this cruise ship was off to sunnier climes. We were watching from the beach at Lee on Solent this afternoon where we had gone for a walk and were looking out to the Isle of Wight.
This shot was taken before 5.30 p.m. but the light looked a bit eerie and like sunset.
What a magnificent shot Hazel. Love the juxtaposition of the ship and the yacht. makes me want to think about cruising again. A group of about 30 of us from Port Stephens went on a solar eclipse cruise to Northern Australia a couple of years ago. Lovely way to spend time with such a fantastic group of friends.
I have the same feelings as you about cruises - all those people and sleeping in a cabin!!!
