Processed in FastStone from a colour version. The pattern on the lower petal puts me in mind of that textured wallpaper we used to paper uneven walls with before we emulsioned them!
You did a splendid job of processing this to show the excellent textures in the petal. This "flash of red" challenge is bringing out the best in our b&w offerings. I don't think I would have noticed the petal textures much if it weren't a b&w shot. Nicely done.
