lily of the valley

Our patch has grown considerably in the garden this year. I can't help but be reminded of my grandmother's little cottage garden with a big patch of lily of the valley perfuming the air just outside the back door.

I brought a lily if the valley plant with me from the other farm ...it was my mums but sad to say I on,y get a few odd leaves these days! Such a delicate flower with a gorgeous perfume!
