ray of light by quietpurplehaze

ray of light

The lighthouse at Beachy Head was built in the sea and became operational in 1902.

The red and white stripes were recently repainted on the lighthouse after a campaign to raise the necessary funds.

Fantastic shot. The lighthouse looks like a lone soldier protecting the coast. (From the ships of course:)

The lighthouse looks like a child's toy left behind on the beach. The light rays are lovely.

The lighthouse looks so tiny, against the cliffs.

Love this showing the true height of the cliffs that shrink the lighthouse into miniature and a great shot with the lovely rays of light. FAV.
